Building into the wet season (November, December)
Early wet season brings the first heavy rain events after the drier winter and spring months. Ants and cockroaches often become more active or move indoors seeking shelter as outdoor nests flood, which generally makes this the best window to get ahead of an ant problem before it peaks rather than after. Rising humidity also means carpet takes longer to dry after cleaning from this point on, so ventilation starts to matter more.
Peak wet season (January, February)
These are typically the highest rainfall and humidity months.
